Remarks Formerly a FAO name. 'Chimère', from Latin 'Chimarea' borrowed from Greek 'Khimaira', i.e., the monster in Greek mythology which has the head of a lion, the body of a goat and the tail of a dragon (p. 306 in Ref. 11853); 'du Pacifique', i.e., of the Pacific Ocean.
