Remarks Found in rocky shore areas and rocky surge channels with little coral growth at less than a meter to 6 m deep (Ref. 90102). Occurs on large encrusted boulders, vertical rock walls, and large shallow caves; surge channel at edge of rock platform, spotty corral, and sand and encrusted rock bottom (Ref. 9849).
