Remarks Found on the continental slope (Ref. 75154). Found in varying habitats, from nearshore and upper slopes to lower shelf and slope waters. Typically in temperatures of 4.4 to 11.8°C (Ref. 117245). Its diet and behavioral information shows that it can be an important predator and scavenger of shelf and slope ecosystems (Ref. 117245).
