Environment:  reef-associated; brackish; marine
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: Northwestern Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in coastal waters, often entering estuaries. Popular angling species usually caught with hook and line and sometimes taken by trawlers (Ref. 44894).
