Max. size:  27 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Southeast Atlantic: South Africa.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 20-21; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 16-17. Brownish-orange spots on pectoral fins (Ref. 11228).
Biology:  Rare species.
