Max. size:  67 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: known from the type locality; Magellan Strait, Chile to Argentina (Ref. 58839).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Oviparous (Ref. 50449). Eggs have horn-like projections on the shell (Ref. 205).
