Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 940 - 1040 m
Distribution:  Southwest Atlantic: known from the type locality, off Argentina and Uruguay (Ref. 58839).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Holotype taken from a depth between 940 and 1040 m (Ref. 26282). Oviparous (Ref. 50449). Eggs have horn-like projections on the shell (Ref. 205).
