This species is distinguished by the following characters: with a short trunk, its length 11.1%-11.8% TL or 0.82-0.85 times HL; short pre-anal length 24.6%-25.6% TL, eye diameter 11.8%-12.3% HL; ethmovomer with three large and one or two small compound teeth; fewer teeth on the upper and lower jaws (Ref. 131161). |
