Description: Characterized by dark brown color with fine, lighter mottling; whitish with dark margins around sensory pores of lower jaw; body depth at gill opening 10-13 in TL; origin of dorsal fin above gill opening or slightly anterior; anus at middle of body or slightly posterior of this point; conical teeth; upper jaw teeth in two rows posteriorly; largest teeth on intermaxillary; single row of vomerine teeth (Ref. 90102). |
