Max. size:  32.6 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 5 - 10 m, non-migratory
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: Canary Islands, Madeira and the Azores.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Anal spines: 0-0
Biology:  Juveniles are found in intertidal rock-pools while adults occur in sublittoral areas (Ref. 79721). Feed on decapod crustaceans and algae (Ref. 3663).
