Typically occurs in rocky zones of main rivers during periods of low water level (Ref. 27188). Often caught in quiet zones of cascades with sandy-rocky bottom. Males who appear not to develop s frontal hump have long filaments on their caudal fins, as well as the dorsal and ventral fins (Ref. 35237). Maximum length 25 cm SL (Ref. 27188). |
