Diagnosis: |
Body light brown to chestnut brown in color, head paler; posterior half of tail nearly black, spotted with white roundish markings larger than eye; white and black bands on dorsal fin; corner of mouth and gill openings not black (Ref. 13608). |
Biology: |
Lives together in fine sediments of the upper continental slope. |
