Max. size:  10 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; marine
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: southern Australia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 29-31; Dorsal soft rays (total): 3-3; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 18-21. Pelvic fin rays thick, finger-like (Ref. 9002). Brown or green in color; series of dark blotches dorsally and midlaterally (Ref. 9002).
Biology:  Commonly in shallow weedy areas in green or brown weeds (Ref. 9002).
