Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range - 140 m
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Gulf of California to Peru.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on the continental shelf and slope (Ref. 9330), on sand-mud bottoms (Ref. 11482). Utilized fresh or as fishmeal (Ref. 9330).
