Diagnosis: |
Anal soft rays: 159-164. Tail progressively becoming narrower posteriorly, tip flexible. Upper lip without upturned labial flange. Skin very thick (Ref. 559). Head small, with short dermal papillae. Snout long and blunt, protruding beyond mouth. Mouth large, the gape reaching to a vertical through posterior margin of the eye. Dorsal origin before pectoral fin base. Pectoral fin short. Body uniformly dark brown (Ref. 41285). |
