Distribution:  Africa: Lake Rukwa, Malagarazi and Lake Victoria basin in Tanzania (Ref. 27292). Also in Middle Akagera system in Rwanda (Ref. 46152), Malagarazi system in Burundi (Ref. 98755) and in Uganda (Ref. 31267).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in quite shallow water between flooded grasses in the Lake Rukwa drainage (Ref. 27292).
