Biology: |
Collection was done in the morning in Quebrada Las Cañas where waters are clear, with rich substrate of clay and organic material. Associated species include Poecilia caucana, Trichomycterus caliensis/i>, Bryconamericus caucanus, Astyanax aurocaudatus, and Aequidens pulcher. Vegetation include, Guadua Bambusa guadua, Bijao Calathea lutea, Plátano Musa paradisiaca, Zapote Matisia cordata, Quiebra-barriga pr Aro Trichanthera gigantea. The area is planted with sugar cane and grass for grazing cattle (Ref. 83637). |
