Max. size:  6.3 cm SL (male/unsexed); 7.1 cm SL (female)
Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range 0 - 910 m
Distribution:  North Pacific: southern Sea of Okhotsk off Hokkaido, western Bering Sea off Commander Islands, eastern Bering Sea over continental slope, eastern Gulf of Alaska, and Pacific off British Columbia to Monterey Bay, California, USA.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 51-55; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 48-52; Vertebrae: 60-61. Pectoral fin moderately notched; caudal fin narrow (Ref. 28160). Branchiostegal rays 5. Opening of gills wholly above the pectoral fin (Ref. 11671).
