Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 149 - 275 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: Puerto Rico to the northern coast of South America.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 11-11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-12; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 11-12
Biology:  Generally found below 200 m (Ref. 13628).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 23 August 2012 Ref. (130435)
