Family:  Clinidae (Clinids)
Max. size:  10 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Southeast Atlantic: Lüderitzbucht, Namibia to southern Natal, South Africa.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 41-48; Dorsal soft rays (total): 1-1; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 25-31. Color varies from green to brown, occasionally mottled; ocellus on shoulder; preserved specimens uniform buff (Ref. 5496).
Biology:  Live among stones in tidal pools. Viviparous (Ref. 51409).
