Max. size:  20 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; brackish
Distribution:  Central America: Cuba.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  In fast-flowing rivers as well as in lakes, preferably among plants. Can be found in brackish river mouths. Feeds on worms, other small fish, shrimps and water insects (Ref. 40602).
