Family:  Cichlidae (Cichlids), subfamily: Pseudocrenilabrinae
Max. size:  6 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: endemic to Lake Tanganyika, described from Lunangwa Bay (Ref. 74422), and probably collected between Cape Tembwe and M'toto (Ref. 46829).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Moderately gregarious; usually a few fish found together (Ref. 6770).
