Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal soft rays: 9-9; Vertebrae: 17-17. This species is distinguished by its plate-like nasal apparatus and bifurcate ventral flange of the parasphenoid (Ref. 101915). Description: Ovary paired, bilobed, with pale eggs of 0.5 mm diameter.
