Max. size:  10 cm NG (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Mekong and Chao Phraya basins.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-12; Anal soft rays: 8-8. Lateral line incomplete, reaching at most to midlength of pelvic fin; 8+8 branched caudal rays; no axillary pelvic lobe; 9-14 bars on body; males have a suborbital flap; D modally 4 / 8 1/2; 7 pores in preoperculo-mandibular canal (Ref. 39226).
Biology:  Found in a pool with muddy bottom and without vegetation in a marshy area between a forest and rice fields. Observed on the bottom or staying without movements about 10 cm above the ground (Ref. 39226).
