Max. size:  19.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: known only from 3 rivers, the Ensengi, Rajang, and Sungai rivers in western Sarawak, Kalimantan, Malaysia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits muddy, fast flowing rivers, 12 m wide and 3 m deep (Ref. 9685). Has not been recorded from estuarine areas (Ref. 57343). Esteemed food fish in western Sarawak, Kalimantan, Malaysia (Ref. 57343).
