Max. size:  40 cm WD (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 1 - 200 m
Distribution:  Northern Indian Ocean: India (Arabian Sea) to Myanmar
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs on continental shelf and feeds on bottom-dwelling organisms (Ref. 4832). Apparaently move inshore to breed and with litters of probably 2 pups (Ref. 114953). Taken sa small bycatch by trawls off India (Ref. 4832).
