Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 64 - 400 m
Distribution:  North Pacific: off southeastern Kamchatka and northern Kuril Islands. Bering Sea off Attu Island, Aleutian Islands, and Gulf of Alaska at Cook Inlet.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 44-48; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 37-39. Body light reddish dorsally, a little mottled; whitish ventrally; skin translucent; peritoneum and stomach pale (Ref. 43939).
Biology:  Found on sand, pebble, and rocky bottoms (Ref. 43939).
