Max. size:  15 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  South America: Paraguay River basin.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Bottom spawner, 3 months incubation. Is very difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
