Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: central Gulf of California to Isla Gorgona, Colombia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 6-8; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 5-8. No humeral spot; black stripe on dorsal fin; body depth 5.3-5.9 in SL (Ref. 42103).
Biology:  Biology not known (Ref. 37955). Maximum length not reaching 3 cm (Ref. 37955).
