Adults are found over sandy and muddy bottoms in coastal waters and river mouths (Ref. 35237). Juveniles often found in estuaries (9626). Spawning generally occurs in summer. Eggs are pelagic (Ref. 35237). Good food fish, consumed fresh (Ref. 9626). |
