Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range - 0 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: north to the Philippines and east to the Solomon Islands.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 20-22; Anal soft rays: 20-21. Some may have orange spots on the sides.
Biology:  Coastal species (Ref. 9682). Oviparous (Ref. 205). Eggs may be found attached to objects in the water by tendrils on the egg's surface (Ref. 205).
