Reported from Abra River in Luzon, Rio Grande de Mindanao, Tamontaka River and Pulangi River in Cotabato (Ref. 108830), Lake Naujan (Ref. 13446). Migrated into Lake Mainit via the Tubay River, Mindanao (Ref. 4867, 13446, 81829) and Kalinawan River (Ref. 81829). Highly priced in Cotobato, Mindanao (Ref. 2858). Considered a delicacy in the southern part of the Philippines (Ref. 2858). Also Ref. 2847, 48489.
