Comments: Reported from Tung Ping Chau (Ref. 94637, 119714, 125586); and Cape D'Aguilar (Ref. 129329). Also reported from Sharp Island and Shelter Island, near coral areas. Rarely observed, possibly due to its feeding habit, and the species being nocturnal (Ref. 128523). The species was observed on 2 to 10 occasions during 400 dive surveys on artificial reefs (Ref. 119494).
