Comments: No separate statistics available. Significant contributor to croaker fishery, averaging 2000 tons annually. Found yearround but abundance peaks between July and September. Caught using bottom trawls, gillnets and handlines. Has potential as raw material for surimi (Ref. 9773). Also Ref. 9772.
