Comments: A specimen (10.9 cm TL) was captured by trawl 2.8 km northeast of Piran, Slovenia (Adriatic Sea) (10 August 2007 (Ref. 96525, 96530). May either be a vagrant or a Lesspsian migrant (Ref. 96530).

背面の脊椎 (合計) : 11 - 12; 背鰭 (合計) : 9 - 11; 肛門の骨: 3; 臀鰭: 7 - 9. Body oval, compressed, robust. Lower opercular spine extending well beyond the opercular flap. Post-temporal bone exposed posteriorly and serrate. Color is dusky green above, white below; body, head and fins with an iridescent sheen. Four longitudinal brown stripes extend on the upper side from the head. A large prominent black blotch is on the distal end of the spinous portion of the dorsal fin. Similar brown stripes run across the caudal fin. (from Ref. 3131).
