Mostly in brackish waters but also in the lower part of the creeks. Larvae hatch in the rivers and move to the sea for a maximum time of 6 months before juveniles go back to brackish areas and then rivers (Ref. 52351). Occurs in the southwest lagoon (Ref. 11889). Also Ref. 13235, 13246.
