Goals and Objectives: |
The Commision established the Interim Convention on Conservation of North Pacific Fur Seals with the following the objective: to achieve maximum sustainable productivity from the fur seal resources of the north Pacific & to conduct adequate scientific research to this end. Parties to coordinate scientific research programs to determine measures necessary to maximize the sustainable yield from fur seal resources & to establish the relationship between fur seals & other living marine resources. |
