United States (contiguous states), Caught in Isle of Wight, Virginia, in Moon Creek, which connects to the Pagan River. I caught the ray on July 23, 2021 around 8 pm. Really wish I had a scale or measuring tape with me but unfortunately I did not. I caught the fish on 12lb line, I am quite familiar with the limits of my line and I feel that this ray could have broken the line. I would estimate it to be over 12lb. The ray appeared to be pregnant as it had a big lump in its lower section. When I flipped the ray over to release the hook I noticed a stream of clear liquid shooting out from its lower section., by Jon Hamilton
