Diagnosis

The esca of this species is characterized as follows: poorly developed terminal papilla; internal pigment developed in its basal half, forms a relatively short branch along posterior edge; no anterior process; the anterolateral processes (pair) simple, slightly longer than height of esca, thin, but their ends not filamentous; central process of esca unpaired, fairly simple, lobate, with incised distal edge and two small appendages at the base along posterior edge; posterior process simple, laterally compressed, distally slightly expanding, and somewhat smaller than height of esca; no pigmented processes (Ref. 123295).
