Dorsal spines (total): 3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 16 - 21; Anal spines: 0; Anal soft rays: 14 - 17. Back dark brown in color; sides and belly light brown; irregular brown lines covering entire body except belly; soft dorsal and anal fins with oblique brown stripes (Ref. 4107).
