Dorsal spines (total): 1; Dorsal soft rays (total): 11 - 12; Anal soft rays: 8. Diagnosis: mouth strongly curved; barbels absent; last unbranched dorsal fin ray strongly ossified and inflexible; pelvic fin insertion below middle of dorsal fin; 26-29 scales in lateral line (Ref. 81639).
