Occur over soft bottoms of the continental shelf (Ref. 7300, 75154). Oviparous (Ref. 50449). Eggs have horn-like projections on the shell (Ref. 205). Males reaches maturity at 29-32 cm TL, hatch size at ca. 11 cm TL. Biology unknown. Caught as bycatch and discarded (Ref. 114953).
