Presence of a thin, black line along flank. Adipose crests on caudal peduncle weakly developed. Dark spots at caudal base hardly visible. Few (8-13) blotches in midlateral row, often horizontally elongated.
Found in sandy streams with clean water and moderate to fast current (Ref. 59043).
