Biology     Glossary (e.g. epibenthic)

Inhabits slow-flowing, often turbid rivers and coastal waters. Also occurs in slow-moving freshwater streams, favours turbid coastal shallows and brackish estuaries (Ref. 44894). Feeds on gastropod and bivalve mollusks. The food are swallowed whole (Ref. 44894).
