Africa: Cuanza River basin in Angola (Ref. 2801, 108777, 120641). Possibly only known from the type locality (Lucalla River at Lucalla, Angola)(Ref. 2801). Reported as Labeobarbus cf. rosae from the lower Congo (Ref. 94750); needs confirmation.
