خارهاي باله پشتي (کل) : 8; شعاع نرم باله پشتي (کل) : 9; خارهاي باله مخرجي: 2; شعاع نرم باله مخرجي: 8. A Nectamia with two faint dorsal saddles, faint caudal-peduncle band, no pale bars on side of body, and faint cheek mark, caudal fin without dark margins (Ref. 74933).

Forms aggregations, sometimes among staghorn corals (Ref 90102).
