Cages of 11.5 m3 capacity (4.0 x 2.4 x 1.2 m) made of fine mesh (2-3 mm mesh size) were stocked at a single stocking density and fish were fed 5 different feed combinations. |

Fish were fed 100% rice bran three times a day (morning, noon, sunset). Feeding rates were from 12% BWD to 3% BWD adjusted 2.5% BWD downwards every 2 weeks at the time of sampling. |
