Africa: known from few, widely dispersed localities in the middle and upper Congo River basin in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Angola: Kasai, Ubangi, Uélé, Aruwimi, Lualaba and upper Lualaba (Ref. 2970). Also reported from Pool Malebo (Ref. 41590), the Lindi-Tshopo (Ref. 106290), middle Congo River and Wagenia Falls (Ref. 106245).
