背棘 (總數) : 4; 背的軟條 (總數) : 8; 臀棘: 0; 臀鰭軟條: 7. Males golden above, with silvery mottlings and darker spots, and dark blue spots laterally; females mostly buff (Ref. 4405).
雄性金的上方,側面地有銀色的雜斑與較深色的斑點 , 與深藍色斑點; 雌性大部份暗黃色.(參考文獻 4405)
