पृष्ठीय रीढ़ (सम्पूर्ण) : 0; पृष्ठीय सौफट रेज़ (सम्पूर्ण) : 29 - 34; गुदा कांटा: 0; ऐनल सौफट रेज़: 30 - 36. Dorsal fin origin same level as anal fin. Body depth 3.2-3.5 x SL. Thick caudal peduncle, 2.6-3.8 x its length.

Females can produce as many as 9200 eggs (Ref. 10606).
